Gramms ShirleyShirley M. Garms, nee Rudolph, 94, of Island Lake, IL. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Garms. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Grace Rudolph, her brothers George H. Rudolph and Billy Rudolph.

Rest in Peace Aunt Shirley. We lost an amazing lady tonight. She was also an incredible bowler and inducted into the hall of fame in 1971. Shirley Garms earned for USBC Women’s Championships titles. She also won the BPAA All-Star Tournament in 1962. In addition to be Chicago’s 1960’s Bowler of the Decade, she was named Woman Bowler of the Year in 1961 and 1962. She gave it up in 1985 to full time operate her pro bowl shop Shirley Garms Hall of Fame Pro Shop. She had a long and fun life, I’m happy I was able to be a part of it. We’ll miss you.
